enviromix pty ltd was officially opened on 11/6/2003.

The residents of Melbourne generate thousands of tonnes per year of garden organics from their home gardening activities. This material is collected by private home garden maintenance companies, delivered to local transfer stations by residents or collected by councils in kerb side garden organics green bins.

The garden organics find its way to our facility in Dingley village where it is cleaned of any contaminants which might find its way into mainly the council bins, mulched by our giant mulching machine (refer photo) then composted to Australian Standards as 4454-2003 & as 3743 to ensure the highest of quality standards for the final products.

enviromix RECYCLED GARDEN PRODUCTS are then distributed to garden centres, sand & soil yards, landscapers and other retail outlets for sale back to residents.

The complete process is referred to as "CLOSING THE LOOP", returning discarded waste product "recycled garden organics" generated by residents, converting it into high quality, useful and beneficial products which when used by residents in their gardens will IMPROVE SOIL CONDITION, product IMPROVED GARDENS & SAVE OUR PRECIOUS WATER not to mention the DIVERSION OF THIS MATERIAL FROM LANDFILL AVOIDING HARMFUL GAS EMMISSIONS.
